STRUCTURE OF THE PROJECT

  • Phase 1 - Creation of the Website - The initial phase of the project calls for the creation of a company website for each of the firms, with the registration of a second level domain. The site will contain several web pages in Italian and English, with data for company identification, history, a description of company activities and services, productive capacity, eventual references, other useful information and how to contact the firm. The website will be connected to the Artigianinet Portal search engine (www.artigianinet.com) through company specifications cards (Note: the texts to include on the websites will be provided by the companies).

  • Phase 2 - Promotion of the Website - Once the site has been built, it will be promoted through registration with the most important Italian and international search engines. A report will then be drawn up, approximately three months after registration.

  • Phase 3 - Together on the Web - All of the company sites will be interconnected and promoted in a single, special area to be built for the project within the Artigianinet Portal and the Vicenza Province Artisans' Association institutional website. All of the results achieved, critical factors and factors of success identified during the initiative will be described in this area upon termination of the project, in order to share this information with the entrepreneurial texture of the territory.

  • Phase 4 - Towards Internationalisation - To improve promotion on international markets, an e-mail marketing campaign is foreseen in phase 4: e-mail addresses will be obtained from Italian and foreign Chambers of Commerce abroad, in geographical areas that are of interest to the companies; an e-mail address database will be created and promotional e-mails will be drawn up, laid out and optimised in Italian and English.

  • Phase 5 - Training in E-mail Marketing - Specific consultancy and operational training meetings are planned in order to favour acquisition by the companies of the know-how necessary to perform an e-mail marketing campaign on their own. (The meetings will take place at Vicenza Artisans' Association facilities and will indicatively require three afternoons to complete). See photo.

  • Phase 6 - Dissemination of Results - Upon termination of the project, the results of the initiative will be shared with the other companies in the "Objective 2" area of the Province of Vicenza, thereby involving all 26 "Objective 2" municipalities in the province. This objective will be reached by sending information to all of the artisan enterprises in the 26 municipalities, indicating the Internet address where they may find all of the information relative to the project and its conclusion. In addition to contact by letter, a single final convention will be held to provide information on the project. The objective of this phase is therefore to develop informative and publicity actions to guarantee visibility of the websites co-financed by the structural funds, in accordance with EC regulation n° 1159/2000.
