DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT AND ACTIVITIES
INTRODUCTORY REMARKS: Local needs and general objectives. The purpose of the project is to respond to the needs of local enterprises from all 26 "Objective 2" municipalities in the Province of Vicenza, in terms of entering international markets on the basis of continuous contacts made during normal association activities. In particular, important requirements have emerged for increasing numbers of artisan firms to acquire new markets for distribution, especially foreign ones, due to the saturation that is now characteristic of several productive divisions. Some possible responses to the requirements of the Vicenza Mountain community artisan division are explored with this project.
OBJECTIVE The objective of the project is to develop promotional and commercial activities on international markets for a group of small companies, using Internet technology. Appropriate instruments to understand and learn about the world of Internet will be provided to beneficiary companies, through specifically targeted action and operational training meetings, held in appropriate local structures.
BENEFICIARIES
The beneficiaries of the project are Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the 26 "Objective 2" municipalities in the Province of Vicenza. In detail, 12 enterprises will be participating in the experimental phase.
AREA OF INTERVENTION
As described above, the area of intervention will include all of the 26 "Objective 2" municipalities in the Province of Vicenza, which will be involved in a differentiated manner during the various phases of the project. See "Objective 2" area (PDF 115 Kb). |
